Following the issuance of Resolution No (7-162-2020) by the Board of Directors of the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CSTC) on 29^th November 2020, which approved the bylaws of the Telecommunications Companies Forum — comprising STC Group, Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), Zain Saudi Arabia, Etihad Atheeb Telecom (GO), Salam Company, and Dawiyat Integrated Telecommunications & Information Technology Company — the Telecommunications Companies Forum was officially launched to strengthen communication channels among telecom companies and activate pathways for interconnection that accelerate digital transformation, integration, and collaboration.

The Forum supports the telecommunications and information technology sector by showcasing its efforts, vision, priorities, and goals, while highlighting the rapid developments it experiences daily. It also aims to raise community awareness and nurture a creative generation of communicators through innovative initiatives designed to educate, empower, develop, and benefit all stakeholders.
